EXPLORE THE WORK

A pathway centred
on people.

Care and community services contain different roles and levels of responsibility. Compare individual support, ageing support and community services study with your experience and interests. A higher-level qualification is not automatically the best starting point.

Plan your practical requirements

Confirm placement or workplace assessment requirements, any screening checks and the delivery arrangement before enrolling. Ask whether your current employment setting could be suitable and what approval is required.

Discuss your learning needs

Talk about trainer guidance, study commitments and support that may be available. Course completion does not guarantee employment; workplace requirements can differ by employer and role.
